About the brand
Lotus oven-bakes its dry food in small batches at lower temperatures instead of extruding it, and hand-packs its stews and pâtés in its own micro-cannery in California.
Why it earned the shelf
Baking preserves more of the meat than extrusion and the kibble is less processed than anything else on the dry shelf. For cats who need a dry option, this is the one we allow.
